Stephanie Pena is a qualified and experienced actor/singer, writer and journalist with experience in television and film production.
She started her media journey at the BBC in Children’s and BBC entertainment. She has played the role of the Venerable Margaret Sinclair in the film ‘Margaret Sinclair An Ordinary Girl’. Stephanie has written, produced and played the role of Clara in her short film ‘Ifonlyfilm.com’.
Stephanie currently works at Wintershall CIO as part of the cast and Education team. She has been playing the Archangel Gabriel in Wintershall Play's, ‘The Nativity Journey’, since 2023, and Mary Magdalene in ‘The Passion of Jesus’ in London’s Trafalgar Square and 'The Life of Christ', performed in open air at the Wintershall estate, since 2024. Stephanie has gone on to play Mary Magdelene in Christian Art's film 'The Stations of the Cross: Pray with us' and Radio Maria England's radio play, 'The Passover Investigation'. She also gives talks about her experience of playing Saint Mary Magdalene and working as an actor of faith.
Stephanie also writes for Premier Woman Alive Magazine and is also now one of the writers for Redemptorist publications Lent Extra & Sunday plus. A seasoned presenter, she contributes to Radio Maria England, interviewing TV stars and promoting films with good content on Radio Maria’s Culture Tuesday. She’s a talented singer, who sings worship music within her church community and is currently learning the piano.
Stephanie has recently returned from walking the Camino de Santiago, solo (September 2025). She enjoys sharing her story of this wonderful faith enhancing adventure of walking the walk way of Saint James through Spain.
